This Dublin band perform a quirky mix of funk, disco, rock and reggae hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and today, and they are influenced by artists as diverse as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin to Chic, Prince, and Diana Ross.

For those few who are not already familiar with this renowned Athlone band, Macey South is a young energetic three-piece made up of brothers Keith and Liam Flynn and Conor Irwin. For those not already familiar with this popular Athlone band, Macey South is a young, energetic three-piece made up of brothers Keith and Liam Flynn and Conor Irwin. Their original mix of traditional Irish music and rock ‘n’ roll never fails to get an audience on their feet. The band’s energy is comparable to The Pogues and Horslips. The instruments range from accordion to electric guitar, with a rasping acoustic guitar and drums driving the melodies on.
